Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)

In a volatile and fiercely competitive world, organisations of all kinds need to find cost effective ways of managing their recruitment needs – which can fluctuate enormously from one time period to the next.. Many firms ‘outsource’ this process to third parties who are expert in sourcing candidates, in different regions of the world. This is known as ‘RPO’ (recruitment process outsourcing) This might include partnering with a firm to manage one part of the recruitment process – such as sourcing and screening or it could be an ‘end to end’ process where the partner provides a whole team to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for a client.

Leveraging industry-leading assessment tools

We infuse our recruitment processes with the insights, tools, and methodologies of our parent company, Korn Ferry and the Hay Group, whom we recently acquired. These tools have been honed and validated through years of investment and research. They include psychometric assessments -tools to identify the competencies, drivers and traits of candidates as they relate to a company or role, suites of ‘ability’ and aptitude tests and tests that determine how a candidate who act in a particular role or situation.

Innovative technology, intelligently applied

State-of-the-art technology is easy to come by. What’s not so easy is deploying it to best effect. We have a large array of recruitment technology at our disposal, from mobile recruiting and video interviewing tools to schedulers, reference checkers, and applicant tracking systems. Where our teams excel is in being able to select the most appropriate solution for each assignment, situation and candidate group.

Executive Search

For some roles – typically those that are more senior we engage in Executive Search for clients. Futurestep Search identifies the best candidates in the market via research and market mapping – and help clients make the right hiring decision.

Our teams are industry experts and span the consumer, financial services, industrial, life sciences and technology industries. We cover ‘functional’ roles such as finance and accounting, human resources and information technology, as well as in the arena of non-profit and educational organisations.

Talent Consulting

Our global Consulting team brings together subject-matter experts from every part of the ‘talent lifecycle’. Their insight and experience is harnessed for the benefit of our clients. Whether it’s selecting the right technology for your talent acquisition team, re-designing a recruitment process or optimising the alignment between talent and the broader business strategy, we deliver tailored solutions according to the client’s needs.

Our Graduate Careers Programme

We are currently seeking recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.

Upon hire, new graduates will complete an eight week Talent Academy programme, based at one of our Recruitment Centres of Excellence (RCOEs). During this programme, attendees will enjoy classroom, simulation and experiential learning modules focused on:

  • Best Practice end-to-end Talent Acquisition processes
  • Candidate and client engagement and relationships
  • Recruitment tools and technologies
  • Communication and consultation skills

After the training program, graduates will be assigned to one of our Korn Ferry Futurestep client teams, providing an opportunity to demonstrate mastery of new skills. They will also benefit from a rotational programme across different service lines during the first 12 months.

Within 6-18 months based on business needs, Talent Academy graduates may have an opportunity to relocate within EMEA to work in one of our client teams, either from a Korn Ferry office or an RPO client site.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 2.1 preferred
  • Open to relocate to one of our Korn Ferry Futurestep regional offices or client sites
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivation and excellent time management skills
  • Quality focus and ability to drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and make informed decisions
