What Will You Be Doing?

The Systems Engineer role is part of the team that supports Windows systems packaging and deployment. You will be working on the integration of large complex enterprise systems with high scale and complexity. You will be responsible for documentation, working with Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and scripting with technologies such as Powershell to integrate automation strategies. You will have the opportunity to use your critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently as well as be part of a highly collaborative team. You will also be engaged with IT leadership, have the opportunity to lead teams and be an influencer across the organization.

  • Develops, tests, troubleshoots and documents new and enhanced systems
  • Provides level 3 support for area of expertise
  • Recommends standards and best practices including capacity planning, recovery strategies and security for supported areas
  • Troubleshoots and resolves a wide range of systems problems
  • Writes and reviews scripts, templates, interfaces and utility applications to continuously improve functionality
  • May lead and execute design and deploy activities for operating environments
  • Plans upgrades, migrations, optimizations, new implementations and identifies and resolves efficiency issues

What We're Looking For:

➢ At least 4+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering role

➢ Experience with Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) technology

➢ Ability to script with MS VBScript or PowerShell to leverage automation

➢ Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and OS

➢ In-depth knowledge and skills in infrastructure/ systems lifecycle methodology, scripting as

appropriate for area of expertise

➢ Demonstrated experience implementing large business systems

➢ Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent years of relevant


➢ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

➢ Ability to work independently

➢ Ability to work in a highly fast paced environment
➢ Strong team collaboration skills
