ACCOUNTABILITIES

COMMUNICATE SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES TO BUSINESS PARTNERS

  • Provide timely communication across the organization to internal business groups to resolve day-to-day issues as needed
  • Communicate with external business partners ensuring the efficient cost effective management and movement of Kohl's merchandise and non-merchandise
     

CONDUCT PROJECT ANALYSIS AND REPORTING
  • Provide necessary data to support project budgets
  • Conduct statistical and cost analysis
  • Develop, administer and distribute performance reports to support business operations and requirements
  • Work collaboratively with internal business groups to acquire key metrics, validate and warehouse data for multiple users
  • Develop and utilize new and existing exception reports to communicate and resolve supply chain issues
  • Communicate appropriate issues to senior leadership as required by the business
  • Track program flow and analyze supply chain performance associated with the movement and management of Kohl's merchandise and non-merchandise operations
     

SUPPORT SUCCESFUL PROJECT AND PROCESS EXECUTION
  • Analyze and implement process improvements across the supply chain
  • Create test scripts and conduct testing for new systems and upgrades
  • Inform stakeholders of project progress and new processes
  • Monitor internal and external processes, identifying breakdowns and participating in the resolution
     

RESOLVE REMITTANCE AND OPERATIONAL ISSUES
  • Partner with other Kohl's divisions to negotiate resolution of significant remittance issues to maintain and enhance Kohl's business relationships
  • Resolve day to day operational issues/compliance

ADDENDUMS

SUPPLY CHAIN EXECUTIVE - OPERATIONS PLANNING
  • Coordinate with partners across the organization and third party vendors to make short term tactical and long term strategic inventory placement decisions
  • Leverage systems and software to acquire data and conduct complex analysis of business issues and opportunities
  • Identify strategies and coordinate the operational implementation of opportunities that reduce costs or increase revenue
  • Support recurring budgeting, forecasting, reporting and other operational activities that support Omni-channel fulfillment operations


SUPPLY CHAIN EXECUTIVE - INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION
  • Responsible for day to day communication and interactions concerning global import freight movement
  • Manage annual ocean, air and origin bids - partnering with procurement and AP on invoicing
  • Analyze, report, scorecard. Develop and voice your own ideas on how to improve process, reduce cost


SUPPLY CHAIN EXECUTIVE - PARCEL
  • Execute day to day parcel operations for the E-commerce network and parcel carriers.  Establish parcel carrier relationships with UPS, FedEx, and USPS
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operating efficiencies, reduced costs and improve customer experience
  • Work with logistics finance group to provide weekly shipment and cost forecasts
  • Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Key Performance Metrics
  • Identify data integration and database solutions to reporting improvements


QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of statistical, financial and work measurement analysis
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
  • Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills


PREFERRED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial System Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Previous experience in distribution/manufacturing engineering/fulfillment and/or inventory management
  • Supply chain knowledge and global business process orientation
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills; detail oriented; flexible problem solving skills


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • On-call responsibility
  • May require overnight travel
  • Flexible schedule to support peak business operations
