Sr Mgr, Product Management - In-Store Apps

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Manages and drives the organizations product roadmap and delivering technical direction to the Product Management team that supports In-Store Associate Apps (Bluebird, eSign, etc.) Leads multiple product owners in an agile development process, working with product managers, user experience designers, visual designers, and software engineers. Leads decision making regarding product functionality, balancing appropriate tradeoffs between business goals, user goals, scalability/maintainability, time to market and process efficiency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the daily activities of a team
  • Oversees product budgets, schedules, and performance standards to meet operating plan
  • Delivers product that introduces new capabilities to the organization
  • Products have significant organizational change impact and require Sr Leadership engagement and alignment to ensure success
  • Ensure the adherence to product management methodology and best practices
  • Advises on roadmap development, concept validation, requirements definition, and feature prioritization
  • Manages and ensures requirements approach for key customer facing features
  • Manages and ensures that team drives Agile project inception and iteration meetings
  • Manages gathering input from a variety of internal stakeholders, external resources
  • Commits time, focus and energy on the development, coaching and performance feedback for each Associate
  • Funnels organizational communication and direction to the team
  • Advocates for team by moving decisions forward and eliminating barriers
  • Identifies and selects the right talent to support the Greatness Agenda
  • Responsible for the delivery of excellence in quality and service levels

QUALIFICATIONS
required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science or related field
  • Has significant product management experience in a major, customer focused enterprise - ideally Mobile
  • 7+ years of experience in technology
  • 2+ years of progressive management experience

  • Bachelors degree in Product Management
  • Has experience in multiple SDLC methodologies
