Software Engineer (Support)
Responsible for creating desired functionality to assigned content, products or services in e-commerce. Develops, tests and implements software that provides robust technical infrastructure and/or software applications used by business units.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop, test and implement monitoring, alerting, automation, and standard operating procedures to be used by business units
- Support all applications related to Point of Sale, Point of Commerce, & Order Management System
- Create and update Splunk and Cavisson monitoring & alerting
- Manage vendor relationships and drive deliverables within their SOW/Support agreements (Toshiba, Cavisson, Verifone, etc.)
- Work to automate and left shift repeatable and manual work efforts
- Coordinate with Product, Program, QA, Performance, DevOps, and Engineering teams to ensure release integrity and supportability
- Identify and monitor application KPIs to determine system health
- Experience in designing and creating automation workflows and execution
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software coding and development
- Knowledge in problem solving, database, application servers, application design and testing
- Experience designing patterns and performance tuning of large scale web applications
- Experience working on Google Cloud Platform
