Senior Marketing Manager - Marketing Technology

Primary Marketing liaison between Marketing and IT for MarTech projects. Leads the successful planning, execution and measurement of multiple Marketing technology initiatives, including; cross-team marketing alignment, program management, business process design, and definition of business and technology capabilities leveraging knowledge of latest trends to deliver a best in class personalized Marketing experience.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

  • Translate and activate future Marketing vision into scalable and agile processes and technology
  • Drive requirements and prioritization across multiple marketing teams and cross functional work streams to deliver successful business outcomes
  • Determine process approach and recommend standards for the teams, ensuring follow through and providing direction to move decisions forward
  • Drive process consistency and adherence through proactive communication and change management
  • Lead and influence project approaches and solution development working with Technology partners to understand system solutions and application relationships
  • Assess solutions with short term and long term business objectives and confirming impact on other projects and processes across Marketing
  • Reports workstream status and critical issues affecting execution. Utilizes proactive communication to mitigate risk
  • Work directly with technology partners to drive priorities and tradeoffs for core business decisions
IMPLEMENT MARKETING TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS
  • Lead the implementation of technology solutions into the Marketing business areas
  • Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop organizational readiness strategies to mitigate roadblocks and ensure organizational engagement and adoption
  • Lead business rollout strategies and timelines including determining process changes, evaluating training needs and aligning cross-marketing teams for successful adoptions of new technology solutions
  • Evaluate existing tools and technologies and recommend improvements in partnership with IT that will enable Marketing to continue to scale with a focus on agility, speed and efficiency
  • Engage and recommend insights through research on competitive landscape and emerging trends
  • Collaborate with Technology to identify and isolate system issues as they arise
INFLUENCE AND BUSINESS PARTNER REALTIONSHIPS
  • Utilizes strategic thinking to align Marketing business goals to the technology roadmap, recommend innovative solutions through new and existing capabilities to drive the business forward
  • Provides strong thought leadership and guidance to influence leaders and drive cross functional alignment and adoption of new technology, processes and standards
  • Partners with leadership on operational decisions for process and technology
  • Acts as a change advocate and SME for new processes and initiatives
  • Leads cross-functional team communication and discussions and Leads change management and solution oriented discussions
  • Fosters productive, collaborative relationships with cross functional internal and external teams
  • Manages cross-functional communication to keep leaders informed, articulate issues and risks to move decisions forward
  • Develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the organization
  • Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop organizational readiness strategies to mitigate roadblocks and ensure organizational engagement and adoption through proactive education and training
TEAM LEADERSHIP
  • Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve marketing goals
  • Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications
  • Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience leading large scale implementation in Marketing Technology
  • Ability to lead and measure multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in marketing technology
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong business and technology acumen
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work for self and team
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools
PREFFERED
  • Experience leading projects, process design and organizational change
  • Previous experience with Adobe, Unica, LiveRamp, Content Management Systems
  • Experience in marketing planning and strategy, marketing workflows, business process design and review, behavioral marketing and data mining and analysis
  • Deep understanding of data and analytics with the ability to design technology solutions that provide actionable insights and campaigns
