Personalization Planner

With a focus on evolving Kohl's to be world class in Customer engagement and Personalization, the Personalization Planner project manages end to end customer segment engagement plans, inclusive of test design and execution, campaign personalization, and personalization capabilities advancement.This role leverages Analytics discovery and measurement to identify new ideas and to provide test and campaign results to inform go-forward strategies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  MANAGE THE END-TO-END CUSTOMER SEGMENT STRATEGY EXECUTION

  • Partners with peers to coordinate test and campaign discussions across all squads to identify and solve conflicts, overlap and cross segment challenges
  • Collaborate with Customer Lead to define customer adapted campaign strategies and engagement plans
  • Support the development of customer segment strategy, lifecycle, journey building and opportunity identification to inform and influence key partners to be more customer-led
  • Work with functional groups (dev, creative, etc.) to ensure functions have what they need, and work meets the requirements of customer adapted plans
  • Collaborate with other customer segment groups to align strategies and mitigate potential conflicts
  • Create customer adapted campaign execution and programmatic plans
  • Coordinate campaign and test execution 
  • Identify roadblocks and escalate to Customer Leads
DEVELOP TEST AND CAMPAIGN DEFINITION
  • Build campaign/program and testing detailed plans in partnership with Customer Lead
  • Work with data science and analytics where necessary including conducting competitive benchmarking
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand potential constraints, conflicts, and challenges with execution plans 
  • Manage end-to-end testing details: Finalize test cell design, data requirements, tech requirements, and creative requirements for a test
  • Ensure tech and data feasibility for a test (working with tech and data leads) and/or campaign, identifying interim solutions or modifying design if necessary
  • Develop measurement plan including KPIs and how testing/scaling decisions will be made
TEST AND CAMPAIGN ANALYSIS 
  • Review test and campaign results and partner with Customer Lead to define path forward 
  • Apply learnings to future tests and campaigns to improve where possible
  • Collaborate with Analytics to track customer segment(s) KPI performance to measure results against targets
STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENT AND COMMUNICATION 
  • Helps build content for leadership communication 
  • Serves as a customer segment consultant to evaluate ideas and action through the lens of the customer  


QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 Years previous Marketing Analytics, Digital, Marketing Operations or related experience
  • Demonstrated organization and analytic skills
  • Strong communication and partnering skills
PREFERRED
  • Prior retail experience
