BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT ______ With a focus on evolving Kohl's to be world class in customer engagement, the Personalization Capabilities Planner will support the strategy through the identification, development and implementation of 1:1 personalization capabilities. They will leverage customer, product and behavioral data to drive revenue growth and support the execution of behavioral trigger based programs and capabilities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Actively participate in developing the strategy and roadmap of our long-term revolutionary experience.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop capabilities roadmaps based on customer data and strategic vision.
- Define prioritized feature sets to address customer needs and create detailed capabilities requirement documents.
- Develop test programs and pilots to improve the effectiveness of personalization.
- Leverage customer insights, industry examples and leadership input to help create new test hypotheses.
- Actively participate in developing the strategy and roadmap of our long-term revolutionary experience.
- 1:1 PERSONALIZATION CAPABILITIES: PROMO PERSONALIZATION, WEB CONTENT PERSONALIZATION, CROSS CHANNEL CAMPAIGNS
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and proficiency in marketing technology solutions specifically around promo personalization and web content management
- Support the creation of new technical personalization capabilities and features to be developed and tested through iterative frameworks.
- Demonstrate creative solutioning, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to identify, design, and implement customer outcome based personalization strategies.
- Partner with various stakeholders(Marketing, Digital, IT) to test and execute on promotional offer strategy and roadmap; track and report against results; lead efforts to expand or launch offers as necessary to boost growth.

- Monitor and analyze campaign results across all channels to understand the efficacy of strategies and tactics for improving key engagement and retention metrics
- Stay current on top and emerging technology capabilities and trends as it relates to personalization tactics and strategies.
- Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills. Able to build consensus using data, metrics, and analysis to drive business and system strategy
- Skilled in stakeholder management and communication at all levels of the organization; can effectively tailor communications to the appropriate audience to ensure broad alignment and awareness.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and proficiency in marketing technology solutions specifically around promo personalization and web content management
- REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in electronic or software engineering, computer science, MIS, or a related field
- 4+ years experience in technology, marketing, business brand or customer engagement strategy
- Proven experience of developing and implementing web content personalization strategies.
- Proven experience of developing and implementing personalized promotions.
- Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Experience leveraging strategic insights to prioritize ideas
- Deep customer empathy and curiosity; deeply understands customer experience and pain points using usability studies, customer interactions, experiments, and aggregated feedback from internal customer facing teams.
- Proven experience of working with a large number of cross functional partners and being able to effectively communicate, document and drive business requirements.
- Able to flex between strategy and execution seamlessly; strong sense of ownership and thought leadership
- Strong communication, influencing and partnering skills
- Ability to translate insights into actionable plans
- Bachelor's degree in electronic or software engineering, computer science, MIS, or a related field
- PREFERRED
- Degree or equivalent experience in MIS, engineering, business or a related field, particularly in the marketing technology space
- Proficient in defining well-thought out user stories, with thorough acceptance criteria and use cases.
- Understanding of Kohl's Technology capabilities
- Experience in using Web Experience Management tools such as Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target, Evergage, Optimizely, Monetate.
- Previous experience with working in agile teams.
- Experience with KPIs implementation and definition, what & how to measure and monitor.
- Experience in using development tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Experience with CMS (content management systems), DAM (digital asset management systems), ecommerce platforms, CRM platforms, personalization engines.
- Degree or equivalent experience in MIS, engineering, business or a related field, particularly in the marketing technology space
