Part-Time 1st and 2nd Shift Loss Prevention Guard

Responsible for associate safety and maintains building protection for the Corporate Office Building and parking lots.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

MAINTAINS SAFETY AND SECURITY OF CORPORATE OFFICE AND PARKING LOTS

  • Responds to alarm activities for both burglar and fire systems
  • Document and follow-up on investigations via camera systems and other Loss Prevention related computer systems
  • Provide a visible security presence within Corporate building by conducting building and parking lot tours and monitoring access control
  • Communicate safety issues to facilities management and or Loss Prevention management
  • Assist with building evacuations and severe weather drills
  • Respond to accidents and medical emergencies
SYSTEM OPERATIONS
  • Be familiar with Honeywell application programs (access control requests)
  • Respond to system generated issues (turnstile alarms, building access)
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to email and phone requests
  • Maintain knowledge of alarm zones throughout facilities
  • Report and follow up with alarm vendors for different issues relating to fire systems
MAXIMIZE PARTNERSHIPS
  • Provide exceptional customer service to associates and visitors throughout the facilities
  • Maintain professionalism in all aspects of associate and visitor interaction
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
  • Computer, filing and telephone skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Adapt well to change
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment while having a strong sense of urgency
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work 5-8pm M-F
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
