Compensation Analyst

POSITION OBJECTIVE This role will focus on making recommendations for the design and development of competitive compensation programs that optimize the right mix of compensation levers including analyzing and benchmarking compensation policies and practices. This role will be responsible for supporting select Corporate groups, Credit & Customer Service, DC/eFCs and/or Stores Territories.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

PROVIDES ADVANCED ANALYSIS, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT FOR ASSIGNED COMPENSATION PROGRAM(S) (INCENTIVE PLANS, JOB EVALUATION ETC)

  • Conducts annual market intelligence and benchmarking analysis to ensure equitable compensation practices and to sustain a competitive advantage
  • Evaluates assigned compensation programs, measures established KPIs, recommend and design approaches to improve program effectiveness
  • Researches to evaluate best in class practices and policies for assigned compensation programs
  • Researches, benchmarks and supports implementation of solutions to identified compensation issues
  • Conducts advanced analysis to report on program effectiveness and ensure compliance
PROVIDES INSIGHTS AND ANALYSIS TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL BUSINESS PARTNERS
  • Informs and ensures business partners and HR understand and use program information and analysis to guide decisions
  • Establishes relationships with internal business partners to form a deep understanding of each assigned group
  • Interacts with HR business partners to share information and respond to queries on assigned programs
  • Creates and delivers presentations and communication to Management and external partners
RESEARCH AND SHARE INDUSTRY TRENDS AND CHANGES IN LEGISLATION THAT IMPACT COMPENSATION PROGRAMS AND POLICIES
  • Identifies regulatory and legislative changes impacting program and/or policy in order to make recommendations to mitigate risk
  • Creates and updates documents to maintain a database of industry practices and trends to support the design and implementation of assigned compensation programs
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of experience in developing and managing compensation or HR programs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word Powerpoint), Google Suite and HCM
  • Advanced data analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant compliance regulations and laws
PREFERRED
  • Bachelor degree, with an emphasis in HR, Finance or Business Administration
  • Master's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
