Benefits Administrator

POSITION OBJECTIVE Provides advanced analysis, development and implementation support for assigned benefits program, including enhancements to improve the overall program for the Associates.



  • Supports development and management of projects within the assigned benefits program
  • Liaisons with multiple vendors to ensure implementation of agreed service agreements
  • Evaluates assigned benefits program; defines KPI's to measure, recommend and design approaches to improve program effectiveness
  • Informs and ensures business partners and benefits managers understand and use program information and analysis results to guide decisions
  • Identifies compliance changes impacting program and/or policy in order to make recommendations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
  • Actively promotes assigned projects via ongoing communication programs
  • Researches best in class benefits programs in the assigned area
  • Conducts advanced analysis to report on program effectiveness and ensure compliance
  • Works with internal and external partners to research and benchmark new and innovative solutions
  • Interacts with HR business partners to share information and respond to queries on assigned projects
  • Communicates with Management on status issues and decisions
  • Facilitates discussions for the project with the project team
  • Creates and delivers presentations and communication to Management and external partners

  • 3+ years of associate benefits experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of relevant compliance regulations and laws

  • Bachelor degree, with an emphasis on HR
  • A Master's degree can be substituted for 2 years of relevant experience
  • PHR or SPHR
