Area/Department Supervisor GA- SAVANNAH Market

JOB SUMMARY (Future Opportunities) Increases customer loyalty, enhances the in-store experience, and creates a positive shopping environment for Kohl's Customers.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

•        Executes workload and distributes tasks to support the customer experience

•        Serves as leader on duty to ensure a positive and compelling customer experience

•        Observes associate performance and provides feedback in partnership with Assistant Manager/Store Manager

•        Delivers the highest level of customer service supporting Kohl's "Yes We Can" culture through effective problem solving

Additional responsibilities based on specific supervisor role:

Sales Supervisor:

•        Trains Associates on selling floor operation and best practices

•        Executes department and fitting room recover and replenishment

•        Identifies merchandising opportunities to increase sales while improving operations

•        Ensures team merchandise fixtures and maintains non-promotional signs

Service Supervisor:

•        Trains associates to maximize performance and customer experience

•        Oversees daily functions of the Cash office (i.e. register and cash balancing, change           orders, authorizing voided transactions, supplies, over/short research)

•        Maintains organization of the registers and service desk areas

•        Supervises and assists in accurate and efficient processing of customers' requests and transactions

Stockroom Operations Supervisor:

•        Ensures accuracy of paperwork, vendor returns, transfers, and all other merchandise handling functions

•        Advocates and executes Kohl's best practices including continuous flow, ad set, and merchandise presentation

•        Ensures merchandise is prepped for merchandising process and sales floor is customer ready

•        Maintains stockroom organization and other operation guidelines and inspects/maintains all equipment

 

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

•        Effective verbal and written communication skills

•        Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail

•        Basic computer skills

•        Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others

•        Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis

PREFERRED

•        Prior experience in sales, customer service, or other work with the public

•        Prior experience working with a team
