Ad Operations Technology Planner

BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT This position oversees ad tagging implementation and serves as technical lead for the Media team.


Technical lead for Media team overseeing tagging implementation

  • Create, audit and execute ad tracking tags both on-site and outbound media
  • Assist teams in all phases of ad serving, including contract management and trafficking
  • Provide technical support to the internal media team for launching and managing campaigns
  • The main point of contact for technical communications with any technology partners
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for media tagging
  • Develop training materials and lead training sessions for Ad Operations teams
  • Internal point of contact to advise and assist teams in process-oriented solutions for managing new ad operations initiatives
  • Trouble shoots issues with tagging and work with internal and external partners to provide solutions
  • Partners closely with external vendors specifically with Double Click, VVF, and Tag Management company


  • Experience with Double Click products and VVF
  • Knowledge of ad server partners (beyond Google)
  • Experience working with site side analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics)
  • Understand tag management systems
  • Expert knowledge in ad serving platforms
  • Experience with data collect strategy within multiple platforms
