Customer Support Associate

This role serves as a concierge to private and classic clients of Knot Standard. Often the first point of contact; from online customization, to showroom experiences, this role handles client communications and inside sides. This role serves as one of the backbone roles to the client experience, and takes a high level of responsibility and product understanding. This will be a full-time position based out of our HQ in New York City.



The Employee will serve as a Style Advisor on the Concierge Team. Employee is responsible for:

  • Directing the relationship with our online clients, from their first interaction via email, phone, in-person, and live chat with Knot Standard through purchase, delivery, and their ongoing future orders.
  • Handling potential & current client calls, chats and emails and responding within 24 hours
  • Providing consistent, high quality customer experience resulting in an increase in client retention
  • A lead role in company sales efforts online
  • Developing initiatives that improve the customer experience/Concierge Team experience
  • Assisting with sales events and outreach with local and national companies and businesses
  • Providing thoughtful, strategic insight regarding customer needs to our production, marketing and technology teams
  • Providing detailed and up-to-date records in KSM, including all correspondence
  • Overseeing appropriate communications internally within area of responsibility



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior affiliation with successful client-facing businesses, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry
  • Impeccable communication in English (additional languages a strong plus)
  • Strong conversation and chatting skills, with the ability to quickly and efficiently hold the attention of numerous simultaneous customers
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Highly competent computer skills, especially regarding social media and web-based applications
  • Prior affiliation with successful customer-facing businesses, preferably in the manufacturing, retail, or e-Commerce industries
