Knot Standard is a custom menswear company headquartered in New York City. Since 2010, our company has continued to expand to new markets, but our mission remains the same; to consistently offer premium service, selection combined with tradition and classic tailoring, for our client and his personal stylist to create the lifestyle our customer desires. We have seven appointment-only showrooms located in New York City, Chicago, D.C., Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Francisco, in addition to our Online Studio at KnotStandard.com.


This year, building on top of our exceptional tailoring, our groundbreaking virtual studio technology has created the most innovative customer experience in menswear. We are excited to break ground as the first custom menswear company in Bloomingdale’s prized flagship store on 59th Street. With this, we are seeking highly skilled & passionate sales associates/clothiers to join Knot Standard to spearhead this innovative showroom on behalf of the company.


Style Advisor’s are full-time, professional sales agents based out of our Bloomingdale’s showroom that take their customers, our brand, and their craft seriously. If you are interested in working with groundbreaking technology, converting clients, and selling a luxury product with a top-tier team, Knot Standard is the ultimate company for you. Style Advisor’s core responsibilities include:

  • Converting & maintaining personal relationships with clients, from their first interaction with Knot Standard through customization, purchase, delivery and continued support
  • Building a book of business through networking, converting, event planning, and additional initiatives
  • Preparing weekly aggregate metrics for Knot Standard HQ
  • Working with a motivated team including your Showroom Manager on monthly strategies and initiatives on how to best build and maintain the client base
  • Working with Knot Standard HQ to perpetually improve customer experience, order delivery, and new product releases

  • Prior affiliation with successful customer-facing businesses, preferably in the retail, hospitality or luxury industry
  • Knowledge and/or passion for the menswear industry and an understanding of the competitive market
  • Eager to learn and be part of a rapidly growing company
