Production Generalist (Level 1) - Seasonal

Reports to Production & Quality Assurance Supervisor

Both 1st and 2nd shift positions are available. First shift hours are Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30; second shift hours are Monday-Friday 3:00-11:00.

General Summary: Products from King Arthur Flour will meet or exceed customer expectations (internal and external) in terms of quality, accuracy, output, timeliness, and visual appearance.

Essential job function

  • Be a TEAM player in a fast paced environment
  • Utilizing acquired skills, the generalist will be expected to:
  • Fill, weigh, and seal bags by hand
  • Fill, weigh, and seal bags by machine
  • Case pack sealed bags/boxes
  • Fill the mixer with ingredients
  • Recognize and identify the variety of bulk products that we package

Minimum job requirements

  • Passion for King Arthur Flour and its products
  • Display commitment to KAF mission and goals
  • Ability to work as part of a team serving the needs of King Arthur Flour
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of safe working procedures and follow and apply them to daily tasks
  • Ability to communicate with team members
  • Detail oriented, focused on quality control and accuracy
  • Must be 18 years or older

Education/experience

  • Good math skills

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
