Job Description

As a Sr. Electrical Engineer on our Baby/Child Care Team, you'll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer to support the Facilities/Utilities team in Paris, Texas. The Sr. Electrical Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in the design, development, optimization, problem solving, operation, installation and maintenance of the Paris site facilities, utilities equipment & supporting processes in a manner that meets safety and operational performance expectations with primary focus in Power Systems. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies and will have demonstrated ability to effectively provide specific project work direction to a broad range of team members. The individual will report through the Paris engineering organization.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
  • Lead single or multiple capital or major maintenance projects with a financial scope of up to $20 million from conception through commercialization.
  • Provide functional guidance in the design, development, and optimization of facilities & utility equipment and processes to meet site objectives.
  • Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems to achieve unit objectives.
  • Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.
  • Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise.
  • Manage site contractors & utility contracts.

About You

You're also a college graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and authorized to work in the United States, and have at least two years of continuous work experience.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Position typically requires a Bachelor's in engineering or relevant scientific discipline and 10+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a variety of plant and/or staff engineering assignments
  • Experience with Utility/Mill Power & Control Systems
  • Expertise in Electrical Engineering with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in capital or expense projects.
  • Experience leading capital projects, adhering to Kimberly Clark's capital execution practices, standards, and CFI's.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing /converting, facilities & utilities equipment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Specific, in-depth technical knowledge and expertise with plant utilities with primary focus on Power Systems.
  • Experience working with external technical service providers Evidence of continuing self-development. Familiarity with equipment installations and startups
