In this role, you will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. Work schedule is assigned after training. Day shifts and Rotating shifts are a possibility. Must be open to working either.

  • Rotating Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts-days/nights 5:45AM -5:55PM (plus an extra $.75 per hour, and additional $.60 night shift differential). One 48-hour week and one 36-hour week each pay period.
  • Day Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day, with a 30-minute paid relief period included.
  • No forced overtime or on-call work!

About You

As a person, you're a balanced thinker, a motivated fixer - someone who is always taking initiative to solve problems, make things better and respectfully engage others along the journey with you. As a mechanic, you have a strong technical track record, work best under pressure and deliver high value to your team by owning issues through resolution, exercising strong situational judgment and favoring a proactive vs. reactive approach to equipment maintenance.   • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical Apprenticeship program, or an Associate's Degree or greater in a Mechanical field, with a minimum of three (3) years experience, OR equivalent Military Education/Training, OR 7 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Additional Attributes

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Possess basic machine shop, welding and fabricating skills.
  • Ability to read blue prints and related technical literature as required. Fabricate parts from blue prints and sketches.
  • Proficiencies in the assembly, disassembly and installation of mechanical systems and components commonly found on high speed rotating equipment and safe execution of rigging and large equipment transportation.
  • Understanding of predictive, preventative maintenance concepts and commitment to continuing education.
  • Successful candidates will have excellent communication, leadership, self-motivation, problem solving, decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a willingness and commitment to work as part of a collaborative team.
