Tableau Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tableau Developer in New York, NY. Responsibilities:

  • This role will be responsible for the overall delivery, coordination and tracking of projects, programs, and initiatives of the Owned Stations data and analytics solutions
  • Develop solutions combining data blending, profiling, mining, statistical analysis and deliver key insights
  • Manage the execution of enhancements and projects simultaneously, including communication to key stakeholders and coordination of work effort within internal IT teams, and the business community
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and convert them into technical solutions that give users access to the data in a format that highlights actionable insights
  • Partner with data architect, Analytics COE and supporting IT teams in order to effectively deliver robust and quality analytics products to production


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree plus relevant
  • 5+ years of progressive data application development experience, working in large scale/distributed DW BI tools
  • 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI)
  • 1+ years of experience modeling and implementing ETL/ELT on MPP database technologies such as Teradata, Snowflake and/or cloud based data warehouse
  • Ability to handle and adjust to change in requirements and direction
  • Strong ability to support, troubleshoot issues (process & system), identify root cause, and proactively apply sustainable corrective actions for business in agile fashion
  • Develop standard communication protocols and documentation templates
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Experience in a business-facing analytical role and proven track record of related success, Exceptional data analysis and problem solving skills
  • Experience implementing scalable, distributed, and highly available systems using cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services
