Software Product Marketing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Software Product Marketing Manager in Phoenix, AZ. Summary: The Software Product Manager works with cross-functional teams to launch commercially successful products that drive value for our customers. You will help provide a vision for company software platforms, managing apps and software products. Responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers to identify their core needs and translate those needs into user stories and use cases
  • Gather product requirements from internal and external stakeholders, and elaborate feature requests
  • Facilitate business growth through collaboration with customer-facing departments, management and Engineering to align on prioritization and timing of product capabilities to meet goals for existing and new customer segments
  • Translate feature requirements, providing clear direction to design and development teams to ensure what products are in line with business goals
  • Propose and maintain roadmaps, product lifecycle, product pricing and feature/enhancement backlog for assigned product portfolio
  • Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to measure the impact of a feature/product by leveraging internal data sets and/or analyzing market trends
  • Identify and review different business workflow approaches and objectively evaluate best practices worthy of inclusion in the product
  • Act as subject matter expert in the development of product marketing materials and response to pre-sale questions


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or Business Administration
  • 5 years in a software product management role required
  • Agile/Scrum and Product Owner experience desired
  • Experience developing/extending cloud software architecture
  • Experience with IOT, application, and app development
  • Experience with audit trails and transaction processing software best practices
  • Experience creating and maintaining user documentation
  • Experience coordinating user-acceptance and field-testing efforts for new products
  • Experience with Jira, Teams and SmartSheet programs
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage without authority
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong financial and data analysis skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (Microsoft Office)
