RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of an Infrastructure Engineer in Columbus, OH. A qualified candidate will come from a DevOps, SRE, Cloud engineering, server side development, database migration/automation experience, or something similar.   • Understand/apply reusable code design, leverage application architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, and perform to meet business-defined service levels
  • Work with Product owners to help shape the direction of the product based on a combined knowledge of what's technically feasible and what is desired by the end user
  • Conduct code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested
  • Employ Agile engineering practices; Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, etc.
  • Identify and implement improvements to products
  • Contribute to the technical code and design documentation
  • Provide production support and issue triage for products


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong programming skills utilizing PowerShell and SQL, MySQL, MSSQL, T-SQL or similar is a must
  • Experience with Python, Ansible, and React will be nice as these tools are used in their environment, however they are not required for consideration
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting with knowledge on interacting with SQL Servers and Windows OS
  • TSQL and MSSQL automation experience
  • Python knowledge to develop APIs and frameworks
  • React for UI in order to develop UI with text boxes and drop downs
