Senior Product Owner

Kforce has a client in search of Senior Product Owner in Oxford Valley, Pennsylvania (PA). Summary: The Product Owner will be responsible for the translation of features into User Stories for the Digital Transformation project to which they are assigned. This role will lead the definition of key deliverables to include user stories relative to new product features defined by the Product Manager, and the definition of Acceptance Criteria against which the Quality Assurance Test team will validate the development of all user stories. The Product Owner will be responsible for leading the abstraction of features into user stories to support Digital Transformation initiatives that include Web Development, Portal Development, Enterprise Content, Data Ingestion, Decision/Workflow Engines and other projects as assigned. They will be responsible for facilitating sessions to create user stories, the current state analysis of systems, acceptance criteria and other deliverables. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed User Stories along with clear and concise Acceptance Criteria to enable developers to perform Agile development activities
  • Facilitate the prioritization of User Stories to be defined and structured in the product backlog on behalf of the Product Manager and provide clarity to the developers of the initiative
  • Support the definition of business context diagrams that underlie the overall the Business Architecture in support of Solution Design activities as required
  • Define information flows from existing systems and identify improvements for new solutions working with business owners, stakeholders, project management, product management, information technology and partners

  • Excellent business analyst skills, specifically with translating features into user stories, and to document corresponding acceptance criteria that will used by the QA team
  • Proven success supporting projects involving web development, content management, data integration and API services
  • Prior experience with user story definition with customer experience design projects
  • Prior experience with agile development practices and use of Jira, Confluence and other digital boards
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and create structured analysis to rationalize definition of solution options
