Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Product Designer in Houston, TX. Your objective:

  • Design and maintain the best possible digital products our company produces
  • This position reports to the Chief Product Officer
Summary: First and foremost, you take pride in what you produce. You understand the significant influence you have over the company's product, so you are driven to work hard because of your internal high bar, not because someone asked you to. You are capable of performing managerial tasks while delivering business outcomes through designing our product. Balancing the management of your time while working and planning alongside our user experience and product team is essential to the success of this position. You keep a startup mentality when approaching your work. This means you're good with rapid change, flexible on your timelines, and dedicated to tasks under pressure. You probably dream big ideas but understand the need for a business to deliver on time. You have no problem prioritizing and working with the team to ensure our deadlines are met. You're great at communicating with different personality types; you're also great at overcommunication. This position will interface with multiple teams to bring a cooperative goal to completion and your candid communication will get you there. You are detail oriented, organized, and capable of tracking multiple features and flows related to the product. Most importantly, this candidate is focused on the end user at all costs. Key Tasks:
  • Design features for a complex product while maintaining our visual language, design library, and global brand

  • 6-8 years of experience in digital product design
  • Mastery over Figma
  • Highly advanced comprehension of Figma's prototyping tools and/or other means of visualizing prototypes and interactions
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus

  • Comfortable using Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, project management software (e.g. PivotalTracker, JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.), and other technologies as used by the company
  • Proven track record of design skill by demonstrating stunning cross-browser, cross-device designs with special dedication to thoughtfulness, detail, and scalability of products
  • Tech-savvy and in-tune with emerging technologies is a must
  • Experience and comfort navigating ambiguity alongside rapid change
