Senior Performance Improvement Advisor

Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Performance Improvement Advisor in Denver, CO. Summary: This position reports to Performance Improvement Director, supporting the senior management team by identifying, developing and managing a portfolio of performance improvement (PI) initiatives associated with high priority strategic goals sponsored at either the local or organizational level. This position routinely:

  • Ensures status reporting of portfolio of projects
  • Monitors and coaches performance improvement teams
  • Supports the teaching of basic improvement skills to medical center teams and others as needed
  • Identifies and communicates initiative barriers to executive teams for resolution
  • Supports leadership and Unit Based Team (UBT) consultants in order to align performance improvement efforts with the overall goals of the medical center
  • Contributes to the achievement of strategic objectives by applying the science of performance improvement
Major Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to and liaison with the local executive team in applying performance improvement principles and tools to improve clinical quality, enhance customer service, efficiently provide care, reduce waste and reduce the cost profile.
  • Ensure that PI efforts align with the strategic objectives of the medical center and the organization
  • Provide regular updates of the Performance Improvement program, to include the status of sponsored projects and progress toward stated objectives
  • Escalate issues and concerns appropriately and proactively
  • Develop an annual performance improvement plan that outlines priorities, training needs and infrastructure requirements
  • Partner with Local Area Finance Offices to establish and validate the financial impact associated with the improvement efforts
  • Develop and execute a PI program at the local medical center level, ensuring a culture of operational excellence and commitment to continuous improvement

  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
  • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
