SAP Retail ECC and POSDM Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a SAP Retail ECC and POSDM Engineer in Beaverton, OR. Duties:

  • Specific application programming, development methods, techniques and standards
  • Software tools, which automate or assist part of the development process
  • Information Systems Examination Board
  • Responsible for development of application using object-oriented Java tools and methodologies
  • Responsible for customization and configuration of WC components and solutions
  • Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Responsible for understanding and documenting technical specifications at the javadoc and design/specification level
  • Responsible for code management and utilization of code management software
  • Responsible for understanding and utilizing tools such as Rational Rose, Eclipse, Clearcase, and memory/performance analysis tools (like NetBeans)

  • Diploma in Rapid Application Development Proven ability to work in a Test Driven Development manner
  • 6+ Years of hands-on experience in SAP configuration
  • Expertise and hands-on experience in the configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting
  • SAP RETAIL and POSDM product experience
  • Expertise and hands on experience with the integration of SAP Retail and SAP POSDM with other SAP solutions and E-Commerce/Point of Sale (POS)
  • Ability to understand retail and digital through Omni Channel a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and able to translate business functionality and opportunities into technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Independent self-starter who will pitch in and not wait to be told what to do
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with product teams in sprints and a scrum model
