Project Manager - ServiceNow

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking to bring on an experienced Project Manager.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the standards for tickets that come in and out of ServiceNow queues for ITC Operations and Security team
  • Make decisions and recommendations based on analytics
  • Monitor the ticket queue and perform quality measures to ensure SLAs are maintained, tickets are properly closed
  • Create and maintain support performance reports and provide regular updates to ITC Operations and Security Management and identify at risk tickets and areas
  • Maintain existing standards and establish new processes, standards, and reporting across all teams
  • Maintain process documentation and train other departments as needed
  • Manage communication plan including setting expectations, internal communications and external communications with stakeholders, partners, and vendors
  • Identify and manage potential risks and issues, anticipate points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
  • Manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously and when necessary lead them to successful delivery
  • Become knowledgeable of information technology and company business operations
  • When necessary, create process standards (including recommended tools) and assist with creating project scope and objectives
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned


Skills

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience and delivery oversight of small to medium-scope implementations, upgrades, and/or managed services
  • 5+ years of experience planning, creating project plans, and execution of projects for small to medium-sized projects in Infrastructure or Application Development environments
  • 3+ years of experience with Service Now ticket and incident management
  • PMP and similar certifications preferred but not required
  • Experience with process improvement, workflows and front end knowledge of ServiceNow are requirements
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and MS Project or Smartsheets and ServiceNow a plus
