Project Manager

Kforce has a client in the medical device industry looking to bring a Project Manager onto their team in Pleasanton, CA. Summary: The Project Manager is overall responsible for leading and executing several projects from initial planning and scoping until project closure that may be technical or compliance focused. You can expect to have end-to-end project responsibility to make sure that all agreed targets are delivered within the given target dates. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all deliverables are successfully delivered according to Quality Management System procedures
  • Scoping, budgeting and managing the project
  • Plan and execute on milestone plans
  • Prepare and deliver project communications from team to management
  • Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved accordingly
  • Facilitate cooperation between R&D, Product Management and Global Operations in a matrix-like structure
  • Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers
  • Travel: up to 25%

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field of Engineering, Life Science or other relevant areas; And a minimum of 3 years of project management experience within the medical device/healthcare industry
  • Experience with Design Control
  • Skilled leader of teams with senior specialists and highly skilled employees
  • Significant knowledge across the entire product development process from the concept phase through development, regulatory approval, production setup and launch
  • Strong communication skills and experience in dealing with high-profiled management teams
  • Basic business understanding and knowledge within the entire product lifecycle value chain
  • MS Office and MS Project Experience
  • Experience with WEEE or REACH or RoHS projects
