Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Project Manager in Miami, FL. This role is currently 100% remote and will switch back to an office environment when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal/external resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget through intensive follow up and closely monitored management
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop detailed project documentation to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Meet with internal/external clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of proven related work experience
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Maritime, Healthcare or Risk Management fields is optimal
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE II certification is a plus
