Photolithography Process Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Photolithography Process Engineer in Chandler, AZ. Summary: As a member of the Process Engineering team, you will interact with the operations, product testing, and R&D groups and external partners to support existing product improvement efforts and new product introduction. Responsibilities:

  • Sustain and optimize coat/develop, exposure, and related metrology toolsets
  • Monitor SPC and report on overall process
  • Troubleshoot process and toolset excursions
  • Support production technicians and react as deviations occur
  • Drive root-cause of major die-level yield loss
  • Drive continuous improvement projects and activities for yield, automation enhancements, and capacity
  • Work with cross-functional teams to complete goals on time
  • Documentation ownership, maintenance procedure understanding and possible assistance, training, and certification guidelines
  • Support NPI by using DFM considerations to help pioneer new photolithography processes
  • Advance coat/develop process for photoresist films on TEL ACT 8 tracks
  • Advance exposure processes for photoresist films on ASML steppers
  • Work with process development engineers to integrate successful fabrication and capability to product requirements
  • Introduce and qualify photoresist films to improve cost and yield


REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS or MS degree in Material Science, Physics, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, or other applicable area
  • 3+ years of experience with photolithography process sustaining and development, including exposure using a stepper
  • Experience in Semiconductor Photolithography Processing
  • Experience with typical metrology techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), profilometry, ellipsometry, etc.
  • Experience with ASML steppers and TEL ACT 8 tracks
  • Experience reading and writing recipes on ASML steppers, TEL ACT 8 tracks, SEM toolsets
  • Experience in Plasma Etch using AMAT tools a big plus
  • Experience with memory technology, being familiar with Fault Detection (FDC), Interdiction Model
  • Experience with statistical software JMP/Minitab and databases software SQL
  • Some experience or exposure with other wafer front-end processing modules (e.g. PVD, IBD, CVD, and Dry etching)
  • Experience working with MES software
  • Familiarity with Polyimide processing
  • Ability to review and draw conclusions from sets of data using statistical analysis techniques
  • Demonstrated knowledge in applying principles of Statistical Process Control, Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility, yield analysis and Design of Experiments
  • Must display sound interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
