Organizational Development Manager

Kforce has a client in search of an Organizational Development Manager in Tampa, FL. Kforce has been retained to find a Organizational Development Manager for a local client here in the Tampa market. This role will act as the liaison and advisor to the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the organization. Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Consult with various departments to identify training needs, conduct root cause analysis, recommend solutions and consult on organizational design to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the Firm
  • Build targeted leadership training curriculum, job aids, and eLearning content; Understand adult learning principles and successfully apply them in training initiatives
  • Partner with various levels of leadership to design, manage and sustain Firm-wide Leadership Development Program
  • Provide coaching to leaders during performance reviews and deliver development plans by leveraging associate 360 feedback
  • Analyzes and interprets talent data to assist in strategy development and execution, planning, training, and change management efforts; Helps management evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's talent strategies
  • Lead succession planning initiatives, organizational realignments and various learning and development projects, including the design and development of hard and soft skills training and compliance trainings
  • Develop targeted learning interventions for Leaders and Associates. Select appropriate instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, multimedia, reference material, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training

  • BA/BS required, preferably in Organizational Development, Adult Learning, or Human Resources
  • 5+ years of experience in an Adult Learning/Development/Training role in a multi-location environment
  • Experience in leadership development, coaching and succession planning (360, 9-Box, etc.)
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing including proofreading and editing
  • Builds and sustains collaborative relationships at multiple levels in the organization
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), PowerPoint and authoring tools
  • Ability to translate business objectives into training initiatives and measure the outcome
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify deficiencies and take corrective action
  • Exhibit strong organizational and flexible time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and to maintain professionalism in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Commitment and adherence to Firm's Core Values
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
