Junior IT Operations Specialist

Kforce has a client in search of a talented Junior IT Operations Specialist in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the investigation of IT Problems, via a root cause analysis or through proactive trend analysis and monitoring
  • Collaborate across IT Operations, the business and service providers to ensure that problems are resolved
  • Communicate and manage expectations during problem resolution and act as a point of escalation
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication with involved parties
  • Develop and use a range of performance measures to regularly monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of Problem Management
  • Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators in relation to problem management, particularly in terms of in-depth trend analysis

  • Proficient in ITIL Problem Management (PM) practice and IT Service Management
  • Proficient in ServiceNow reporting and analysis
  • Process-oriented, attention to detail
  • Proficient at facilitating meetings
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Easily adapts to change
  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Tools (RTC, Jira, etc.)
