Healthcare Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, an established company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a remote Healthcare Technical Business Analyst for a short-term contract position. This position can be remote.Summary:Under the guidance of the Software Engineering Managers or Team Leads, the Senior Technical Analyst will work collaboratively within an agile software development team to help solve business problems by creating business and high-level technical requirements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the ongoing expansion of the company's platform. This role requires a genuine passion for users, technology, problem solving, and creativity. Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for documenting and creating business requirements, business processes, user flows, and technical requirements
  • Work independently and collaborate with User Experience, Development, and cross-functional business teams to deliver solutions that solve problems
  • Participate in the agile development process by attending daily standups, team retrospectives, demos, and planning is a supporting role
  • Translate highly technical concepts to business leaders and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support and provide guidance to technical teams
  • Develop acceptance criteria, test cases, and perform system testing activities, as needed
  • Assist with training, communication and documentation efforts
  • Perform software product demos


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience with writing Scrum-style requirements, including user stories, features, epics, use cases, process flows, and test cases
  • 2+ years of experience with requirements gathering and analysis and then making recommendations based on these assessments
  • Experience with Gherkin syntax and Behavior Driven Development is a plus
  • Experience in technology driven healthcare, wellness, or benefits, preferable is a plus
  • Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience with information technology, systems integration, software development, analytics, and large data applications
  • Experience working in an agile/Scrum environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Experience with requirements tracking and workflow software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal by expressing concepts and information clearly and succinctly using proper business acumen
  • Communicates information in a tactful and positive manner at all times
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, facilitation, and multitasking
