RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Director, Product Management (Data systems) in Solana Beach, California (CA). Summary: As the Director, Product Management (Data systems) you will be responsible for identifying the best solution for the client's new internal data system platform capturing the largest national proprietary dataset in the industry. You understand what makes researchers tick and you are willing to sit with users to see where they get blocked and help fix their problems with elegant and simplified solutions. You will be the point person responsible for making sure our users feel empowered, while at the same time creating world class innovation and illuminating the clients most important value, the clients earned trust for data integrity.   • Product Strategy and Vision: Take a leadership position in driving/influencing the digital disruption of the client's industry through creative solutions, with an eye for simple design, and a compelling technology-driven identity for our products and services
  • Leadership: As the leader of communicating the client's product point of view, you take pride in delivering against the client's vision and inspiring and challenging team members to continue to push beyond traditional real estate product solutions
  • Teaming: As a subject matter expert, your ability to teach and work collaboratively within the organization will be required to ensure the clients process is consistent across all of our product touch points
  • Project Management: Come prepared for weekly stand-ups, bring your best client-facing skills to meetings, be prepared to work and learn, set deadlines, take notes and ownership of the next steps; Execute meticulously in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Undergrad/Grad education in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in a product development role; Preferred experience with technically complex products with meaningful integration of innovative technologies including integrating machine learning, mapping software, and data modeling; Experience with or an eye for simplifying UI / UX design
  • Portfolio: Share past products, where you've influenced product development; Showcase how you go about developing a unique customer experience with large database management
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Tools: We are a collaborative and tech-driven company; Tools include Box, Slack, Jira, Microsoft Office Suites, IOS Apple, Apple App Store, Salesforce, Tableau and Snowflake
  • Qualified candidates must be presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; This company does not sponsor or transfer H1-visa individuals
