Kforce has a client in search of a Data Modeler in Medley, FL.Essential Functions:

  • Work and be familiar with every aspect of the configuration tool and data model to enhance functionality, add content, create constraint rules, and perform data validation; Work with OEM vehicle suppliers to gather requirements and work on integration
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and updates of the model; This includes management of communication and implementation plan with company suppliers to ensure updates are released as planned as well as performing data validation and testing as part of planned update roll-outs
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other areas of the organization affected by the data manipulated in the configuration process (Operations, Pricing, Costing, Accounting, Asset Management etc.)
  • Develop, maintain and execute test cases to be performed as part of new model releases
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to perform user acceptance testing of content and updates prior to model update release dates
  • Troubleshoot and resolve test/production CPQ issues
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stay up to speed with the software improvements planned and implemented by the configuration software vendor
  • Gather feedback on model functionality from internal stakeholders to drive improvements
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Three (3) years or more experience preferably in fleet, asset management, IT or working with equipment configuration software required
  • One (1) year or more working with configuration systems or models preferred
  • Strong abstract analytical capability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to perform work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, self-motivator, self-starter and customer focused (preferred)
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure with mandated turn-around times
  • Ability to work with large data files and understand data relationships
  • Technical mindset and ability to learn and understand vehicle compatibility concepts
