Data Integration Developer

Kforce has a client seeking a Data Integrations Developer in Temple Terrace, FL. Summary: The Data Integration Developer performs programming, database design, tool and package support, systems integration and interface development, product upgrade installs, and related tasks. Responsibilities:

  • Manages and executes data migration from application databases to the data warehouse, transforming as appropriate using ETL tools such as SSIS, Talend, T-SQL. Designs, creates and updates packages
  • Designs packages to follow best practices for data movement such as high cohesion/low coupling; Reviews others' codes to ensure practices are being met
  • Maximizes data quality through the flow, creating profiles and alerts; Implements master data management schemes for standard Corporate data
  • Uses standard interfaces to move data between applications and to outside vendors (REST, APIs, data mapping)
  • Runs change management and works with others to coordinate data governance and ownership issues; Makes decisions on appropriateness of confidential data access
  • Proactively finds opportunities to refactor data migration paths and destinations to re-use code and lower the supported code base
  • Coordinates the development and preparation of various reports and statistics as requested by management or staff
  • Coordinates the production and distribution of monthly data reports
  • Participates in CIT rotation (on call)
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work with a moderate level of supervision exercising a reasonable degree of discretion and independent judgment
  • Good analytical and organizational skills including the ability to effectively multitask
  • Familiar with SQL Databases and related design preferably in Microsoft SQL Programming skills in one or more of the programming languages used at the Company including C#, ASP, and Transact SQL
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Intermittent driver; Valid driver's license and automobile insurance per company policy
