Copywriter - Open to Remote

Kforce has a client seeking a Copywriter in Phoenix, AZ.The client is open to hiring remote roles. Summary: As a Copywriter, you'll collaborate with our in-house integrated marketing team to create concept-driven campaigns that capture the hearts and minds of prospects, customers and influencers. You'll work closely with the creative team, strategists and project managers to ensure creative concepts and executions meet brand standards and established business objectives. But above all, you'll be part of a collaborative creative team with a purpose - to remove obstacles for students. Responsibilities:

  • Write copy for key strategic B2B and B2C campaigns/projects and digital content. Delivered on time and on budget
  • Research, explore and communicate best practices in copywriting and discern which competitive ideas are most effective
  • Provide concept-driven creative ideas and solutions across all channels
  • Use consumer insight data to inform the development of strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with copywriting leads to ensure a consistent voice across campaigns
  • Contribute to a creative and collaborative team environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Advertising or a related field
  • One (1) year of experience in an agency or in-house environment; Three to five years preferred
  • Large, integrated cross-channel campaigns and promotional experience
  • Online portfolio and writing samples are a must
  • Ability to develop creative and original copy that aligns with the company voice
  • Solid communication skills, verbal and written (master of spelling, grammar, and punctuation)
  • Strong design sense; Able to organize information in a way that's easy for readers to understand; Able to communicate vision to a designer; Able to digest complexity and deliver simplicity
  • Solid project-management, organizational and decision-making skills; Able to efficiently handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Passion for learning, education, and the next new thing
  • A shared belief in branding as more than a logo, and stellar creative as more than a knock-out headline
  • A background of enduring the rigors of fast-paced projects and demanding creative environments
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
