C++ Software Engineer

Kforce is looking for a C++ Software Engineer for a large client in Shawnee Mission, Kansas (KS). This client is seeking a Software Engineer with excellent work ethic and someone who is prepared to develop and maintain software solutions for modern pharmacy workflows and information exchange. Summary:This position is a backfill for a 25+ year employee who will be retiring in November of next year. This position will develop moderate to complex software in C++ with MFC encompassing services and service layer, service integrations to UI and data and interaction between application layer and database layer. This client is open to someone with 1-5 years of experience allowing potential for growth within the organization and the software technology department. This person must be a U.S. citizen.


  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with Windows Desktop Applications using C++
  • Experience with graphical user interfaces (GUI)
  • Experience with Windows Services and Windows Security
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 and higher
  • Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 and higher
  • Experience with MFC or Git on the front end (Nice to have)
