AR Manager (Healthcare/Medical Revenue)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a AR Manager (Healthcare/Medical Revenue) in Andover, MA. Summary: Our Healthcare client is seeking an AR Manager in Andover, Massachusetts (MA). The primary role of the AR Manager is to oversee the accounts receivable (AR) and staff within the Financial Shared Services Center. The Manager will be responsible for directing and developing assigned team members, while ensuring highly effective levels of service is being provided to customers and stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all activity is processed accurately and timely
  • Monitors processing volumes and distributes work to team members accordingly
  • Performs quality assurance activities to ensure integrity of deliverables
  • Trains staff on technology, process and procedures
  • Escalates issues as needed, and assess current issues and KPIs for continuous process improvement and efficiencies
  • Participates in the development of the AR policies and procedures to be used to develop training and end user manuals
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc billing and AR reports and analysis to support management
  • Supports the transition of AR functions from various locations
  • Supports the integration of newly acquired partners and newly opened programs into the billing and AR process
  • Participates in the testing of custom development or periodic software updates
  • Supports the development of internal controls to be embedded into processes and ensures ongoing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance of controls
  • Commitment to superior customer service and support while serving as a role model and mentor for team members


REQUIREMENTS:
  • 7+ years of experience in a high volume, healthcare or related field and an accounts receivable environment
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supervising and developing direct reports and team
  • In depth experience in process, people and technology in shared services operations
  • Experience with internal controls, including internal audit and Sarbanes Oxley
  • Strong business knowledge of billing and accounts receivables
  • Detail oriented with well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications
  • Ability to interact at senior/middle management level
  • Ability to build relationships across a wide and diverse client base
  • Strong motivational skills
  • A team player who excels in a collaborative environment
  • Willingness to adapt to flexible work schedule when necessary
