Accounts Receivable Analyst

Kforce is assisting a client in the Tampa, FL area who is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst. Key Tasks:

  • Monitor the aging of customer receivables and pro-actively take corrective action to resolve open accounts receivable balances in a timely manner
  • Work directly with customers regarding delinquent payments, investigates discrepancies and makes recommendations for resolution of discrepancies and customer deductions
  • Minimize amount of delinquent account balances as measured by -amount past due- and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Establish and maintain account reconciliations using an analytical approach
  • Performs job related duties as assigned by project

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Preferred but not required - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable with a background in performing root cause analysis
  • Experience with application support and developing test and troubleshooting procedures
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Get Paid system is highly preferred
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office application suite, with Intermediate excel skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Team player that is well organized, can work independently, and has strong diplomatic and negotiation skills are required
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated excellence in analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are required
  • Language fluency (written and verbal) required in English and Spanish
