Accounting Manager

Kforce is helping a Wakefield, MA client in their search for an Accounting Manager, provide leadership in various accounting and fiscal procedures, ensuring that they are performed correctly and that funds are managed according to the organization's goals and objectives. This position will perform professional accounting functions, such as preparing financial statements, developing budgets, processing audit reports and perform account-budget analyses. Essential Duties:

  • Perform and manage day to day accounting operations
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting reports for management and executive teams
  • Responsible for timely month-end close, all bank and account reconciliations and proper accruals of financial statements and other reporting requirements as needed
  • Prepare annual budget and rolling forecast so actual results can be measured

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Have 5 or more years with private accounting experience, at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
