Accounting Clerk - E-Commerce

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a New York City, New York (NY) based e-Commerce and digital marketing company is seeking an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Account reconciliations and proper expense posting to P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Reconcile Bank Accounts
  • Reconcile Credit Cards
  • Reconcile Amazon Orders
  • Reconcile PayPal account
  • Ensure all online orders are reflected properly in QuickBooks
  • Follow up on aged A/R
  • Email customer invoices weekly
  • Collection on past due accounts by email, phone
  • Monitor finance email and respond to customer inquiries
  • Receiving checks as A/R in QuickBooks and process for bank deposits
  • Investigate customer disputes involving shipment, pricing, discounts as well as any other issues
  • Receive wires in QB
  • Process credit card payments


REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of experience in the finance and accounting areas of a retailer or e-Commerce company
  • Accounting experience
  • Good Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and QuickBooks experience
  • Proactive and organized, with strong attention to detail
