Marketing Analytics Manager

The Marketing Analytics Manager plays a critical role in ensuring client and company success, leading the development of insight learning agendas, measuring digital campaign performance, developing deep insights to drive performance, and designing sophisticated testing plans.

The position requires strong quantitative skills, business savvy to understand and advance client marketing goals, a technical mind with the attention to detail and patience to troubleshoot within the latest ad tech platforms, and a desire to be part of a tightly-knit team that’s out to change the industry. 

What You Will Do:

While each client engagement is unique, you may:

  • Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business and marketing goals, leveraging analytics to advance these goals
  • Help design and execute measurement tests to quantify the impact of marketing campaigns
  • Develop, and execute against, a queue of custom analyses to uncover insights that support client recommendations
  • Deploy best practices in media/site tracking and customer data management to maximize data availability, and cleanliness, to enable deep analysis
  • Develop data visualizations (Datorama) for 1-3 brands and any back-end functionality;  Custom client-facing reporting as-needed
  • Assist in automating reporting processes that enable the business to scale
  • Learn about, and leverage, Adtech/martech capabilities via vendor research, training, and use case development
  • Have the opportunity to manage 1 or more Analyst(s)/Senior Analyst(s)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5+ of experience in paid media/marketing analytics, statistics, digital media buying, engineering or ad tech
  • Strong background in analytics / statistics with experience working with big data sets
  • Some knowledge of programming languages to aid in analysis (e.g. SQL, Python, R)
  • Some knowledge of digital marketing measurement solutions (e.g. MMM, MTA, Data Clean Rooms)
  • Experience with visualizing data within online platforms (e.g., Datorama, Tableau, Upper Quadrant) and/or the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Site Analytics experience (GA / Adobe)
  • Ability to apply innovative thinking to solve complex client marketing challenges
  • Strong ability to create and build relationships – both internally and with clients
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to contribute to fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-based environment
  • BA/BS degree required
