Position Overview:

Kendra Scott is looking to hire a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Systems Analyst to help build and maintain our new WMS environment that includes RF and a shipping system. Our ideal candidate must be highly organized, an amazing communicator, and great at troubleshooting computer issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialized application development and support to users and customers by analyzing, developing, troubleshooting, documenting, and training for all assigned tasks relating to the Softeon WMS, the Proship shipping system, and customer requirements
  • Managing operational software improvements including specification development, auxiliary application development, testing, and implementation of in-house and vendor upgrades and software releases
  • Interacting with internal users to provide daily support of operations of the WMS, the Proship shipping system, labeling, reporting, and in-house ancillary applications
  • Diagnose and resolve unique, problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature
  • Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the warehouse employee's satisfaction

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree with a minimum of 4+ years' experience supporting and troubleshooting PCs, operating systems, network connectivity, and applications
  • Minimum of 2 years' related experience and/or training supporting a WMS (Experience and/or training supporting the Softeon WMS, including prior experience with implementation, is preferred.)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with SQL scripting
  • Experience in training employees on Softeon is strongly preferred
  • Experience with systems for multi-site warehousing/distribution/fulfillment operations including WMS, RF, and labeling is preferred
  • Experience in logistics including warehousing, packaging and fulfillment is preferred
  • Ability to accurately estimate effort of implementation activities and participate in project management planning
  • Ability to develop business relationships with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support efforts
  • Knowledge of process management and the project management life cycle
  • Experience with systems change management processes
  • Experience with systems for multi-site warehousing/distribution/fulfillment operations including WMS, RF, and labeling is preferred
  • Experience with business intelligence software and time & attendance systems is preferred
  • Experience in logistics including warehousing, packaging and fulfillment are preferred
  • Advanced critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills
