Our Distribution Center is the backbone of Kendra Scott and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team! We provide 'WOW' customer service to all of our customers and wholesale accounts by shipping beautifully wrapped product accurately and efficiently. The Seasonal Fulfillment Lead should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment. They will be trained in all areas of distribution but will specialize in planning, directing, and administering various aspects and activities within the warehouse. Accountable to allocate and schedule warehouse personnel based on daily needs
Communicate daily expectations to the Floor Assistant and follow up to ensure completion
Helps distribution operations by coordinating and communicating company operational policies and procedures
Responsible for the progressive disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and writing warnings
Working alongside managers throughout the day and being willing to shift priorities on short notice.
Staying up-to-date with changes in customer requirements to guarantee customer satisfaction
Organize and focus on improved productivity levels in a manner that emphasizes effectiveness in processes and team performance
Complete ongoing quality control checks throughout the fulfillment process.
Coordinate with other departments in the distribution center to facilitate efficient operations
Manage general employee inquiries and solve problems
Report daily progress at the end of each day to management
Our ideal Fulfillment Lead will have:
2+ years of experience in leadership or supervisory role, preferably in distribution, retail or restaurant industries
Associate or Bachelor's Degree is required
Excellent computer skills including database management and proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets; experience with a WMS is a plus
Performance analysis and problem solving capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A confident self-starter with superior multi-tasking skills
A positive attitude that is contagious to others
Experience in a fast-paced environment where priorities change on a regular basis
Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively while demonstrating strong time management skills
Ability to lift 40 to 60 lbs.
Stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift
This is a full-time, hourly position located at the Distribution Center in Austin, Texas. Hours are as directed by the Department Manager. Overtime, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.
The primary schedule for this role will be SUN-THUR 2PM-11PM
