The Executive Strategist serves as consultative expert on all company products and applications to prospect and client strategies while embodying the Patch Values. He/she supports Regional Directors with strategy presentations to facilitate the sales process and marshals necessary internal resources to support contract closes.  The Executive Strategist assists in the sales strategy training of client facing teams and provides thought leadership and identifies opportunities to develop and implement solutions that will drive results in all areas of the sales funnel.

Essential Functions

  • Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction
  • Serve as the “industry go-to” for specific business lines (Banking, Marketing, Analytics, etc.) and create content repository via case studies and competitive information fact sheets
  • Capture client and prospect insights from FI’s, CD’s, RD’s, MPM’s, B2B to understand and improve overall effectiveness of sales delivery and sales support
  • Recommend and initiate new go-to-market support strategies to drive higher conversion rates or better target solutions to client needs
  • Provide deal level strategy recommendations that help the organization achieve improved close rates and additional deals in subsequent years
  • Work with sales and B2B marketing to drive results in all areas of the sales funnel (product improvements, B2B programs, competitive intel, pricing, buyer experience management, and tools necessary to meet the changing needs of the environment)
  • Work closely with sales and client facing teams to identify, prioritize and analyze key business value drivers, key influencers and understand how our solutions will help solve those problems
  • Structure pricing and proposals for Regional Directors that align with the strategy of the client and the needs of the client organization
  • Contribute to thought leadership and sales training for new sales and client facing teams in order to accelerate the sales cycle
  • Speak about and represent the Kasasa products, as a knowledge expert, in order to expand the presence of Kasasa with target buyers
  • Work closely with B2B to support and influence nurture campaigns that are used after initial presentations are made to the client
  • Work with all aspects of the sales funnel to increase closing velocity of deals
  • Provide continuous feedback into B2B efforts to make all content and marketing programs better meet the identified needs of the client
  • Up to 15% travel

Position Requirements

  • BA/BS; MBA Preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in client management, consulting, marketing, and/or sales strategy
  • Financial Industry experience a significant plus (specifically Community Banks and Credit Unions)
  • Proven experience working consulting with or selling to C-level structure
  • Understanding of and successful experience with complex sales process(es)
  • Proven history of delivering results in a sales engineer or sales support function preferred
  • Organized and attention-to-detail approach (strong, tactical execution)
  • Ability to work in highly complex business where mental flexibility and critical thinking skills are required
  • Ability to creatively apply analytical and strategic understanding to the needs of a client in a simple and articulate manner
  • History of presenting to and engaging C-Level audiences
  • Must be change tolerant and have an ability to flex across a continuously changing environment while maintaining focus and delivering results. Must be service oriented and willing to selflessly collaborate with the field sales team and internal corporate teams in a respectful and encouraging way at all times
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
