Sales Operations Associate/Coordinator

The Sales Operations Associate will help the department head build and scale a world-class function to support Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, and the executive suite. This is a new role at Kargo and the second hire in this department. 


  • Own significant portions of company-wide Master Data initiatives relating to the creation of standardized nomenclature & hierarchies; approval processes & controls; general data cleanup; and the optimization of key system integrations
  • Help support the creation and implementation of executive reporting to help internal stakeholders make data-driven decisions
  • Create, maintain, and present sales operations materials including trainings, newsletters, rules of engagement, and process documentation
  • Manage sales data requests, software issues, and recommend proactive strategic projects aimed at continually reducing the number of these tickets
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Salesforce.com platform and serve as a business owner and administrator of Kargo’s instance
  • Build and disseminate regular (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) reports and develop ad-hoc reports to support regional and national strategic planning
  • Assess vendors to ensure that Kargo partners with the best sales activity, productivity, and analytics partners
  • Support the Sales Operations team with various strategic projects – either by taking the lead in performing from start to finish or aspects of larger project plans within the Company


  • You have a 4-year Bachelor's Degree
  • You have 1-3 years of experience working as an operations, finance, or customer service professional
  • You are able to comb through large amounts of data to uncover trends, spot inconsistencies, and glean other pertinent information
  • You have experience collecting, organizing, scrubbing, and analyzing data
  • You are highly skilled in Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (PivotTable and/or macro experience is a plus)
  • You are able to multi-task, apply extraordinary attention to detail, and stay focused in a dynamic environment
  • You are self-motivated and goal-oriented, comfortable managing your time and consistently beating deadlines
  • You have exceptional emotional intelligence and have experience managing up effectively; you are skilled at working both collaboratively and independently
  • You are flexible and adaptable, able to anticipate the needs of other stakeholders and departments
