Summary of Jobs Purpose:

The Product Marketing Manager will partner with the Kargo Product Team throughout the entire product lifecycle.  From ideation through launch and adoption, you will evangelize our products by developing impactful content and effective campaigns that win customers' attention and drive adoption. You will work closely with your colleagues on the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure we lead with the value our products provide to our clients.

Responsibilities:  

  • Study company products and translate technical details into benefits for the client
  • Understand our clients, the market trends and the competitive landscape through research, feedback loops and direct interactions 
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing to develop product positioning that differentiates Kargo's products from others in the market
  • Own go-to-market strategy. Plan the launches of new products and releases of existing products, including internal/external communications, training, and promotional events
  • Build sales enablement and training materials, assist sales on calls/meetings when appropriate to provide deeper dives into our products
  • Be an ambassador of Kargo products; speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our products 
  • Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts
  • Leverage tools and technology to automate internal/external product communications

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field
  •  5+ years of previous working experience in the Product Marketing field
  • Background in advertising technology is a plus
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
  • An outstanding communicator who can distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable making decisions amidst ambiguity
  • Strong bias for action
  • Working knowledge of marketing tools such as Hubspot
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools including Slack, Jira, Confluence
