Position Summary:

Kaiser Associates' growing Healthcare practice provides strategic support to executives at leading Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Health IT companies, and is regularly ranked among the top 10 Healthcare Consulting firms by Vault.

Our Healthcare practice is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial Principal who is energized by solving complex business problems for leading Life Science corporations. As a Principal, you will be responsible for leading highly talented engagement teams to develop insights and recommendations that address client issues, as well as contributing to firm growth though business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Balancing project management, project delivery, and business development responsibilities
  • Managing engagements from start to finish, including team oversight and preparation of documents for client presentations
  • Analyzing research and client-provided information to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Writing client-ready presentations and delivering powerful, effective business presentations
  • Conducting client interviews and research
  • Facilitating client working sessions and process design workshops
  • Serving as key point of contact between team, senior officers of the firm, and clients
  • Developing and bringing thought leadership to bear for business development purposes with existing and new clients
  • Engaging in practice planning discussions, including practice strategy and marketing discussion
  • Responsible for professional development of team members

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years' experience at either a leading Healthcare strategy consulting firm, or commercial strategy experience at a Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Health IT company
  • B.S./B.A. degree from a 4-year accredited college or university in Science, Health, or Business concentration
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Quantitative modeling and forecasting
  • Leadership and/or project management experience
  • Experience working with senior business leaders
  • Experience working on business issues within Healthcare
