ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The eDiscovery and Information Governance Specialist will assist the Legal department with enterprise wide direction and support for the design, implementation, and enhancement of our eDiscovery and Information Governance programs.

The eDiscovery and Information Governance Specialist guides day-to-day operations of these programs to ensure continued alignment with evolving data landscapes, technical best practices, and legal requirements. The eDiscovery and Information Governance Specialist partners with internal and external global legal teams as well as IT, HR and other key business partners.

Your responsibilities will include working with other members of the team on the following:

  •  Drive consistency and efficiency in eDiscovery, from legal hold through production
  •  Support the development and enhancement of a company-wide records and information

management program in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

  •  Assist with vendor identification and management, including monitoring of vendor costs,

efficiencies, and practices.

  •  Develop and maintain expertise in a variety of technical tools for management of end-to-

end eDiscovery processes and workflow automation.

  •  Develop and implement scalable policies, templates, processes, tools and workflows to

solve complex eDiscovery issues, manage risk, and increase operational value and

efficiency for litigation and regulatory matters.

  •  Protect and maintain the privacy of employee and customer records.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  6+years’ experience in eDiscovery (preferably within a complex corporate legal environment).
  •  Deep understanding of legal eDiscovery requirements and technologies and their application in litigation.
  •  Demonstrated experience in resolving challenging eDiscovery issues.
  •  Demonstrated accountability and keen ability to meet aggressive time frames.
  •  Able to make decisions quickly but also seek guidance when appropriate.
  •  Professional demeanor and ability to interact with persuasiveness and confidence.
  •  Demonstrated relationship-building skills; ability to appreciate people with different

backgrounds and points of view and ability to create an inclusive environment.

  •  Personal integrity, sound judgment and strong ethics in business and personal conduct.
  •  A commitment to personal and professional growth and receptivity to feedback.
  •  Candid and personally secure. Ability and willingness to seek and receive feedback constructively.
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

  •  Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; law degree preferred
