This is a technical role within the Cloud Security and Cyber Assurance team, focused on implementing and operating critical security technologies across JUUL’s multi-cloud platform digital space. The Senior Security Operations Analyst for JUUL is responsible for safeguarding JUUL’s endpoints, data, and cloud-based computer networks. This includes designing, engineering, and operating cyber security tools and custom solutions to perform network monitoring, data loss prevention, intrusion prevention, endpoint security, application security, and user security. The engineer will work closely with the infrastructure, architecture, and application development teams to execute technology tasks, and partner with the risk management groups to ensure alignment of security principles, policies, and best practices.

  • Engineering, deployment, and operational responsibilities in standing up and operating defensive systems across a global multi-cloud platform environment
  • Responsible for standing up, configuring, and managing Intrusion Detection/Prevention (IPS/IDS) systems at the network level
  • Responsible for operating network and host based DLP solutions
  • Partner with the Offensive Security team on active or emerging threat research
  • Event log management engineering and monitoring




  • 4+ years of experience engineering and administering security or related IT technologies
  • 3+ years of experience automating security tasks using languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, and AWS/GCP based APIs
  • Experience with standing up and operating IPS, IDS, or CASB solutions
  • Expertise in deploying and maintaining enterprise-wide technologies at a large scale
  • Experience handling and building SOAR solutions such as Demisto or Phantom
  • Experience handling and building next-gen SIEM solutions
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions including DLP and EDR
  • Expertise in securing one or more public cloud solutions such as GCP, AWS and Azure
  • Experience designing secure networks in the public cloud
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and build rapport to influence colleagues at all levels, uncover issues, and identify needs
